I searched but didnt find much and I was just wondering if this is normal...It seems that its nearly impossible to shift into 2nd gear in certain RPMS and it seems that the only time I get decent smooth shifts is after 3rd and even downshifting is hella shitty. Is this normal or is this just a preview of worse things to come...oh and for shits and giggles it it dangerous (duh!)..correction "is it alright" to drive with only 3 out of 4 wheel bolts on a tire (front right) cuz one of the bolt is busted.
(note I bought this car and didnt know it was in this condition until later)

Replace the broken stud as soon as possible. There's some redundancy in that system, but the fact of the matter is that now the impact force is distributed through 25% less steel.
Your synchros are tired. You'll probably need to match revs on downshift, whether through a simple heel-toe or through a double-clutch, and you'll have to either work on timing your upshifts or getting better at double-clutching to take the strain off the 'box when you're accelerating. I also recommend changing the transmission fluid as that often helps the problem. Take your time when shifting as well; you're not out to win a race.
Worn-out motor and transmission mounts only make the problem worse, as when you lift off the gas the engine will torque and make it harder to get into the shift gate.
