Lights behind AC controls

When I turn on my headlights, the lights behind the AC controls dont come on. What's wrong???

check your fuses. maybe the light is burnt out

Had a similar problem, lights got loose. I lowered the unit, there are two bulbs mounted from the top under a l'il plastic tab. Check those.

yeah the same happend with my 96, i pulled the circuit board out and you could see on the board where the board burnt out around one of the bulbs...i went to the yard to get one off of a wrecked 240 and it was the same problem.  i called nissan and oredered new bulbs ($15) didnt work, i called back..700 for the whole unit...f that!
SOLUTION:
on ebay they sell LED lights for alarms...hook the 4 leds($20) into a solid power/ground(parking lights)
i think that you would only need 2 led lights in the ac control, use the other 2 for whatever, [porn lighting for all i care.  ]they have like 7 colors from white-orange, just lay the bulbs inside the unit in front of the little light bar sabar doohicky thing and walla! good luck
