Moviehole is reporting that Jordana Brewster is in negotiations to reprise her role as Mia, in the upcoming "The Fast and the Furious 4" film. What I'm not seeing to get is the fact that they are supposedly releasing Brian (Paul Walker) from jail because he let Dom (Vin Diesel) go in the first installment. Isn't that how the second movie came about? If you watch the short film on the second DVD it shows Brian running from the police, because they found out he was aiding and embedding a criminal. That is how he ends up in Miami, then on the first race of the movie the cops showed up and tazed his car. Arrest him. Offer him a job, if he accepts they clean his record. He does the job. All said and done, right? Apparently not. So how can they arrest him again on the same charge if they expunged his record? Wouldn't that be like double jeopardy?
