if i were to put a turbo on a completely stock 240, how well will the motor hold up to boost? how much power can it take before stronger internals is needed? what problem(s) i could face once the turbo is installed? any problem(s) whatsoever?

1 bar of boost and 320hp at the wheels is the most i've seen. S14 KA and a stage II FMax kit with modifications.

s13s generally will go up to 7 PSI safely, s14s a bit higher

I wouldn't go more then 7psi of boost...make sure you have a fuel pump that can support that

upgrade your fuel pump and stuff like that, but dont push more than 7psi, unless you upgrade a lot more. hah. while youre at it, will you please boost mine?

I've heard of double that being ran.

PSI240SX: If you read this, could you post what boost you were running before you blew your engine, that might give people a better perspective of what to expect.

i remember this from my autox thread. but he said he's running 20psi all the time for everything. i know it's not stock, but maybe he can say what he did to turn up the boost.

Thats what he is running NOW. Before that he had stock pistons and such and blew his motor. I was wondering what he was running then.
