Yea I Love the supra i was willing to shell out alot of trust fund money for a 1993 a few years back..... then a certian movie came out and it became popular with everyone on the block and the car I was interested in jumped in price...... not to mention when i said that i liked the car.... everyone was like "ya because you saw it in F&F"

damn that movie to hell

Has anyone used KBB.com? The kelly blue book?
I just put a 39mile car, all options, excellent condition, and it spits out $18k. This was private party, because it rates them more. What the hell is wrong with KBB? It said that 80k supra TT are worth $8k. Yeah. I wish KBB would send my a list of $8k Supras, cuz I'd have 2 of them in my driveway!
Sorry... just though this was kinda on topic. $18K for a showroom Supra TT, with 39 miles!

Yeah, I have also loved those cars since the first time I ever saw one. I was ten and I went to a toyota dealership with my dad. It was a white turbo. I know a lot people don't really think about those kinds of things when they are ten, but I vividly remember the white supra turbo in the .howroom I see them around every once in a while. In fact, on my way back from best buy today I saw a white one at a Shell station. I had to give the thumbs up to the guy. ahh, flashbacks rule

KBB doesn't rate private party more... Retail is always higher(at least in ALL my experiences anyway). I got $21k and I only put that it was a manaul, with leather and 39 miles. It seems like they don't really update their site very often. That could be part of it. And also IMO people pay way too much for them. But if people keep paying the sellers will keep raising the prices.

Well hell... i didn't know they had a retail price for used cars. I thought it was only trade-in and private party.
But still... how the hell does a $40k+ car with 39 miles drop $19K?!?

Well, that I don't know. But they don't take into account that that car has probably never been titled, probably never driven on the road, it probably hasn't been outside the showroom or a garage for the whole time its been in the US either.

Keep in mind that kbb is a program w/ certain parameters - likely one for under XXX number of miles. Anything below that gets lumped. It can't account for things like "owned by Vin Diesel" or 39 miles total. That is when price becomes too based on market forces.

More importantly - what is sport roof? Does that mean its one of the oh so rare turbos w/o t or targa tops?

that car has been in the Aw classifieds for over a year.

anyway, KBB can't be effectively used to price niche cars. it never works.

Just go buy a '02 SS Camaro

Sure its a heap... but by now it must have lost 3/4 of its value.... thank you GM

Besides while its still running... its quick

That is if you can stand sitting in the GM parts bin interior where everycar shares the same climate control buttons and radio... and those skilled GM employees putting buttons where ever they seem to fit and not where they should be

Here's the AutoTrader link for it. This car's been for sale for a while. It's here in Tulsa. It's insane how much they're asking for this car "off the showroom floor."

http://www.autotrader.com/findaca....ar=1993 (http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/vdetail.jtmpl?car_id=112756514&dealer_id=&max_price=&start_year=1993&end_year=1993&address=74136&search_type=used&make=TOYOTA&model=SUPRA&min_price=&distance=75&advcd_on=n&advanced=n&color=&car_year=1993)

I can't believe how out-of-date the dash looks!! That is truly a beautiful car though! I believe the owner was a lady, too. How could she resist the temptation of seeing that car every day and not driving it!?!?!?!?
