I'm running a kyb gr2 and tein s-tech basic setup. 1st of all I know everything is there bushings, washer, etc ; everything is in its correct place. Went as far as pulling whole shock assemb. from stock junkyard 240. The front is fine. I've have no probs w/em and its been over a year. The rear is a whole new ball game. I've been through 3 sets in the back. Everyone else who doesn't have hicas I've talked to has had no issue with same exact setup. What do you think is going on?
Thanks

Either the struts you are picking up from the junkyard are near their death, or...
there could be some extra play in your suspension causing the strut to blow.
i never heard of HICAS blowing suspension.. but you never know.
I say just get the HICAS eliminator bar. see if that solves your problems.

I didn't put the j.yard shocks in. Kinda used them as a template to make sure everything is correct. The eliminator bar was what I was thinking. Maybe the turning/twisting effect is killin em. Why couldn't we have just got a non hicas hatch w/ lsd? :'(
