As a way to thank the forum moderators and members of this board, I have asked WWW.Speedtrialusa.com to allow a group discount for the November event at Buttonwillow.

I would like to thank the moderators of this forum by inviting everyone who can attend to come out and have full track day for FREEE!!!!!! That's right JDM Recycler and SpeedtrialUSA will pick up the tab as a way to express appreciation for this forum.

Now... as a way to show appreciation to all the positive feedback I've been recieving. All forum members will be offered a $10 discount off the normal entry fee and our race famous BBQ is on JDM Recycler that day. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I hope this is a good way to put screen names to faces in an event where we all share the same hobbies and interests.

Danio- speedtrial is Nov. 2 and 3rd. Since it's not mentioned, It would lead one to assume that it's for both days (!?!?!<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> but I kind of doubt that. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sly.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':sly:'> &nbsp;We'll have to wait for David to get back to us.

Danio~HUMMM.... &nbsp;to make is fair for other members the best I can do is extend the offer on a one day track event. &nbsp;If you prefer to register for both days you pay $200 I'll cover the rest..... &nbsp;

Danio~ great question!!! YES, your paid registration will include unlimited free use of the skid pad facilities at Buttonwillow Raceway. &nbsp;This is a great way to hone car control skills. &nbsp;

I just spoke to the organizer of Speedtrialusa and they are offering skip pad registration for only $50 of all day use. So both days will be $100. &nbsp;

Hurry, event slots are filling up quickly, &nbsp;Saturday is almost full. &nbsp; Still openings for Sunday. &nbsp;Maybe we can have a 240 meet at the track on Sunday, in rememberance of the recent mega 240 convention. &nbsp;

How do you register for just the skidpad? I have at least one person who's interested in that.

Adey~ &nbsp;As for now the 240 meet is extremly tentative. &nbsp;I will need a list of people interested to hold &nbsp;a mini meet. &nbsp;Sunday will be best since less cars = more track time for everyone. &nbsp;If someone who is registered would like to volunteer and organize a mini meet i would be very pleased.

***UPDATE****

After speaking with SpeedtrialUSA, the skid pad will not be avail. &nbsp;for this weekend.. My understanding is that Buttonwillow just recently built a cart track and use the skid pad as parking... gurrrr... &nbsp;I apologize for bringing the bad news to us all. &nbsp;I just got word on this change today...
