Hey guys. Some of you may remembe ra thread I made a long time ago comparing the miata against a 240sx. Well, I decided on a S14 and I love it :keke:.

One of the things im curious about though are the rear tires. If you look at them they both point sort of inward like this / \ . Its dropped pretty good so im assuming the person who did it did it without a camber kit? I wanted to get new tires and probably still will. Is it a bad idea to drive like this or will it just cause my tires premature wear?

Thanks.

Toe in/out causes more wear than negative camber.

go out and buy a pair of megan rear upper control arms. Cheap and they hold up really well. And don't for get to get and alignment right afterwords.

If budget allows I would get Rucas and toe rods. You only have so much adjustability with the stock arms. And with aftermarket ones you have a lot more to work with. But like I said if you can afford to get both I would.

get rucas AND toe rods, because chances are when you dial out all of that negatie camber, you will have excessive toe in/out

megan racing is junk.

if you want quality and reliability, go with SPL, peak performance, or battle version.

Sorry for such a tiny pic, this camera is a pain. If you save you can enlarge but I should have a large one up tomorrow.

thats not low at all, all you need is an alignment do you just have lowering springs?

Thats what it looks like. Listening to my brother got me all paranoid about this..ugh. But yea I just bought this car yesterday and didn't talk a look at all at the suspension but it looks like springs to me. BUT I didn't expect springs with a small drop like this to cause toe in?

well without an alignment after installing those parts esp. lowering it will cause tire wear.

Makes sense, the left rear tire is almost bald.

Are you joking me people, ruca's are one of the only thing on the rear suspension that is almost impossible to break, unless you hit something VERY VERY hard. Thats why i suggested megans cause they work just as good as any other brand name! Cheap yes. But they will hold up just as good as anything else.

Expensive prices are only the name behind them, but there is thoghs select company's who know there shit. Megan is making there name too.

you may not break them, but your not really paying for the arm itself your more so paying for the bushings, which higher quality costs more
