my friend used to be the vice pres of apexi at orange, he said that they went bankrupt in japan and the US corporation is fine. they might change the name in japan to avoid the bankrupt process.

One thing is for sure, you are going to see ALOT of this later in the year. I hope they do not change their name, that would be foolish. The name alone is very valuable.

From what I understand the company in Japan changed names and basically moved the apostraphe about two years ago to try and generate revenue.

It is pretty crazy being that the N1 exhaust was the "ricer" standard exhaust and every ebay born company started out with the N1 exhaust canister.

It is indeed a shame. I love their products.

Measure the top of the strut and find the bolt size....

Pretty much any S chassis camber plate will work.

APEX is the shit! Oh well I guess I better start saving for their garage sale, it is gunna be pretty damn good this year for sure! I have the W/S noir exhaust on my fastback right now, and I love it, but I want a lighter exhaust (the W/S weighs like eleventy billion pounds).

I blame knockoffs.

Seriously though, so many Japanese companies are dying... Anceltion is another I heard went bankrupt.

yea, alot of market share loss due to knock offs. Sad to see an innovative company such as apexi in the position it is today...

Yeah...

But, Apexera went bankrupt a year ago this month due to upper level mismanagement and some gangsters trying to move in. They re-organized and seem to be doing fine.

Apexi USA did a joke for April Fools Day last year too.

I heard this shit like two years ago too.

I asked one of the reps at the Apex garage sale and he said nah, not true.

Then I heard that a Korean company bought out Apex Japan since it was doing so horrible. Right when I heard that is when Apex had a bunch of new electronics come out. So I figured that it was true and they were good to go.

Actually the new electronics were a partnership with gizmo which is a UK/Safrican company

Gizzmo is awesome.

Ok maybe they were the ones I thought bought them out. Really more of a partnership then?

More like Apexi USA is the US distributor for Gizzmo.

I been wanting one of these old ones for a few years now, shit got the job done, didnt need to be pretty

I think if they could reproduce their old line up at budget pricing, it would rock. I never really liked Blitz items, I love HKS though, can find 2nd hand gauges on ebay fairly cheap.

It wouldn't matter, just because the cost of pressing the boards and cases would make the old stuff priced similar to the new stuff.

well if sony could redesign the ps2, made it smaller and cheaper to produce.. due to technology advancements able to reduce sizing etc..
Just a thought
