So basically everything is plugged up, only one way to plug in no other combo. When i turn on the low beam HID they only flicker for a second then completely turn off. High beam halogens work perfectly fine. I cant figure this damn issue!! anyone got any ideas what the issue is?

Well its brand new. its the VME kit. I've tried reversing the ballast plug and swapping ballast (even though that shouldn't do anything).

Make sure you have the right leads going to the postive and negative terminals. That was what was wrong with my install when I first did mine.

The leads are the same as these on this set. So they only plug one way, So I don't how they could be wrong. Im going to check double check my connections.

Can you hook the other ballast too it, or is that mounted already. If it still doesn't work maybe its the bulb...or vice versa? Hey did your kit have a fuse...if so might wanna take a look at it?

I can not hook the other ballast to it for some strange reason, one the those green(yellow in the pic) leads wont clip in ( it should clip in, but i don't wanna shove it and break it). And no there was no fuse that came with the kit.

Hmm maybe yours is protected a diff way, but mine had a fuse inline, but it looks just like the fuses in a fuse box (like on my s14). Hey do both your ballasts make a humming noise. Mine do and I think most do atleast one other kit I heard does. Atleast you'll have some sign if it's getting power?

Should be getting enough power. My friend had the same kit on his s13 also. So I doubt ill need to wire a relay.

My friend had this exact same problem. Turned out to be his grounds weren't good. Try hooking your grounds to an area you know is grounded well, or directly to the negative terminal just to see if thats the problem.

Bingo. Not the wrong ballast, but faulty at least. Thanks for the advice everyone.
The issue was a bad lead connector. I fixed it and one side worked. The other side the ballast is bad. So i guess i got to return it now and see what i can do.

ON a side not I notice some of you are mentioning grounding and terminals, but my kit doesn't ground to anything or run to the battery, it just hooks up to the end of the factory bulb harness...is it that way for h4 kits only.
