Call Of duty 4 Vs Halo 3

Ive been having an on going debate about these two games for some time with a bunch of my friends and I wanna see what my fellow zilivians believe. Its pretty simple call of duty or halo 3 and why???

the two are def not mutually exclusive. Halo for Xbox Live fun with friends...Call of Duty, for solo gameplay.

sorry, reason being...Halo is a unrealistic but insanely fun arcade-style game.

COD is a more realistic tactical/strategic game with real world injuries and weapons.

Halo 3, Eh... same ol' same ol'. IMO it is a slow paced game compared to other first person shooters... although it is a ton fun with a group of friends and some beers. COD4 is a better online experience... again... IMO.

the only good thing with halo 3 is that you can link 4 players per console and join together with another party as to COD4 you can only have one person on a console. Still COD4 is so much better.

Call of Duty 4 definitely. Halo 3 is a great game, the gameplay is good, good weapons, but they really dropped the ball on the maps. They are really really bad. I played the hell out of Halo 3 when it first came out, and within 2 weeks I was sick of the maps. They're not designed well, and just a lack of selection. Halo 2 maps were far superior. I'll actually still play Halo 2 here and there. Haven't really played Halo 3 since early October. I did get on there for Rocket Race, as that's pretty fun, but other than that I haven't played it.

COD4 has great maps. And the Perk system is awesome because you can constantly mix it up. I also am a big fan of Mercenary Team Deathmatch where everyone has to come in by themselves. Halo 3 should have done this. Have a Team Slayer, and a Team Slayer Solo where you couldn't party up with people. Would eliminate boosting, de-ranking, lame strategies, etc.

goto the barracks and choose prestige mode, it makes you start back from rank 1, here's the definition from the game itself...

Prestige mode=
