As alot of you know, I got ripped off and was sold bad Tein coilovers. I am going to have them rebuilt. I was just curious to know if the coilovers are basically as good as new when they get rebuilt. Thankfully Tein is only a couple of miles away from me so it's not a huge convenience. I just want to make sure they will be pretty safe after being rebuilt because this car will be spending alot of time at NASA events. Thanks for the help in advance guys.

You should be good once they rebuild them.

yeah and not having to deal with shipping them is golden for you. like zero turn around time.

Why would they not be good as new?

As long as the piston shaft and housings are in good shape...you'll get everything else new that you need. Seals, fluid, o-rings, whatever...

It will be a new shock.

cool. really appreciate it guys, just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to put a potentially dangerous car on the track.
