$700+tax

$300 extra for early warning system. This comes with a sensor you carry with your keys, if the car is moved without the sensor in the car lojack will call you, text you, email you and call a friend of your choice.

It was the best $1000 i spent on my car. No monthly payments

Also, they come to your house to install it. Takes 20-30 mins

You can get insurance discount as well. Lojack gives you a form to fill out and you can give it to your insurance provider.

Or you could use my anti-theft method.

Blown out rack and pinion, you can steal my car as long as you only have to go in straight lines haha.

...damn money pit.

He's in Los Angeles.

Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure you can get Lojack anywhere in L.A.

Hahaha Gieco offer me a discount of $1.90 a month. Thats right I can buy a burger at Wendy's now. But still better than nothing, If you live in a metro area Lo Jack should cover you. Check out WSATI.org they have good info. IMO if your going to spend more than 5K on a car 1k ian't a bad idea.

I have a lo-jack on my '65 mustang. Had it put on right after I finished restoring it and two weeks later someone stole it out of the parking lot at my girlfriends apt complex in the 10 minutes it took to go upstairs and get her.

Called the cops, told them I had lo-jack and they caught the bastard less than 5 miles away. I identified my car, told the cops I wanted him prosecuted to the full extent of the law and went about my night. Found out later at the trial (yes I did go) that it was the guys 3rd strike. Can you say lifetime @$$pounding?!?!?!

Best investment I ever made, especially considering that car was my grandfathers and he bought it new in '65. And I still don't know where the actual lo-jack thing is. They don't tell you where they put it (at least they didn't inform me).

Definitely a good investment and peace of mind is priceless!!!

another alternative is guidepoint. www.guidepointsystems.com same idea. gps tracking, but you have the option to track your vehicle on the internet, and they offer concierge services, much like gm's onstar. but iirc they have a monthly fee.
