How often do you guys lose your KEYS?

Long story short, im looking for my keys and i cant find them. So im back on zilvia. Not sure why i seem to lose them, i just do. Bad memory, i hope not. Just careless and busy.

So how often do you lose them? Im going back for round two. :bigok:

enough to me to really flip out and break parts of my room with my bare hands, or to remark "yeah im losing my mind." usually only happens after a long day.

I "misplace" keys and other things on a daily basis...but I always end up finding them later in the day. It just sucks when you are in a rush and can't remember where you've placed things.

only when i'm running late are they ever not where they should be. during the winter they stay in my jacket pocket, during the summer they *SHOULD* stay on the key hook next to my door but never do.

i never lose my keys, but i ALWAYS lose my phone, bank card, money, etc that might happen to be in my pocket when i'm driving. S13 seats are fucking theives. and no matter how many times i lose stuff and ALWAYS find it in the same place, i still panic at first and look everywhere else but there...idk why lol

i hardly misplace my wallet because it doesnt get moved around as much as my keys. Since i work on my car, they move in and out of my pocket all the time and sometimes my hands get too dirty to put the keys back in my pocket. That is were trouble hits.

I have a Tritium key chain. If I can find my keys I just turn off the lights. Won't lose them for 10 yrs.

I've locked my keys in my car ALOT. So much that I have a flat copy, I cut a template in one of my old CCs and stash it in my wallet. No more lock doors! (who can tell me what movie that came from)

The best part is you tear the house upside down looking for your damn keys, then you find them on top of the coffee table 2 hours later just fucking staring at you...Shiet like this has a tendency to happen when your late for work, appointments, job interviews, catching a movie, any event that you have to be somewhere by a certain time.

doesnt work for me.

back in high school, i think junior year, i was in my last class and the bell was about to ring, so i reach into my pockets and my keys werent there. after class i turned the room upside down, emptied my locker, searched all my other classes, and finally after like 45 minutes of searching, i randomly reach into my back pocket (probably for my wallet or something) and my keys were in there. i have NO idea how they got there lol.

I lose mine all the time I lose them permanently, it really pisses me off, i had to get the ignition cylinder re-keyed on my 240 this week, had em make 3 extra keys too, cost me like 13 bucks not too bad ,gave one to each family members lol.

I have a lanyard AND I have a HUGE heavy Batman keychain on my keys, but for some reason I still lose them like 50 times a day. I have ridiculous memory issues. I lose my wallet, my phone, my keys, my work ID badge and timecard- anything I stick in my pockets. I finally bought myself a small backpack to carry all my shit, and a separate lanyard for my work stuff that I wear, and for some reason I STILL manage to forget to clock in for work.

I lose them a once a week. Especially in the winter, since I don't have a designated winter jacket. I don't really care about losing my keys since I find them in a few minutes, but my YMCA membership card...I haven't seen it this whole year. It's to the point where every front desk person knows my first and last name.

I have a short lanyard maybe 6 inches, not the 12 inch kind so it doesnt really help. Thank god i have spares tho. Gotta get into the habit of putting things where they go. Same thing happens to my tools
