It isn't really a "kit" so to speak. &nbsp; It's just the factory body panels off a 97-98 put on the 95-96. &nbsp; It is a bolt on swap. &nbsp; You need fenders, corner lights, headlights, hood, bumper (assembly), and a support that is behind the bumper (radiator support or something). &nbsp;A lot of people don't use the extra support behind the bumper, and just fabricate their own when they get it all put on. &nbsp; The wiring is a little different for the headlights I believe.

The Kouki conversion is basically swapping 97-98 front end parts onto a 95-96 (which is a direct bolt). &nbsp;I plan on doing this, but I need to save up for the $$$.

Here is a link that will help you out:
Kouki conversion, what is involved..... (http://www.zilvia.net/f/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=6;t=12580)

I also posted part numbers in that thread if you want to get some parts from the dealer. &nbsp; But Parts.com (http://www.parts.com) gives you the best deal....IMO.

Would anybody have by any chance a picture of a 180sx with an s14b front end conversion? &nbsp;I think it would be interesting.

When you say S14b...do you mean 95-96 look? &nbsp; <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/huh.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Here is one with the 97-98 front end:

Whoa thanks for the fast reply with the picture and all! &nbsp; That kinda looks odd to me hehehe &nbsp;Oh about the 14b... I refer s14a to the 1995-96 model and the 1997 and up the s14b due to minor change.

Oh ok, thanks for the correction <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> sorry if I caused any confusion guys =p

I know this is kind of off topic, but would any of you guys know what body is on the 180sx in the koguchi video? I think its on an Option2 vid. heres a link ( for those who haven't seen this killer 180sx running the track ) http://members.cox.net/wazneeni_240sx/temp/koguchi.mpeg

I still don't know if I want to stick with the 180sx look or do a conversion... hehe

You could get the parts from the dealer, online or a junkyard. &nbsp; But it will take some custom work to get that front end on your car.

I'd like to see someone put a 95-96 front end on a 97-98... just to see what people will say.

I actually prefer the older headlights...

Everything is a direct bolt, however for the front bracket (which is the bar behind the headlights connected to both fenders) you can buy a 97-98 bracket or use your current one and do some minor welding. &nbsp;I believe Grant had to do some minor choppig, but double check on the post I linked.

I plan to buy a 97-98 bracket and welded it on my car, its not as serious as it sounds.

I think the "strawberry face" (ichigo?) face fenders are the S15 silvia (99+) fenders....not the S14b's.

95-96 s14b,before minor change.97-98 s14a,after minor change

Now that I think about...if you want the S15 front end, I recommended you save up the extra money and custom work the OEM metal fenders on your car. &nbsp; There is something about fiberglass fenders I don't like. &nbsp; If my car had fiberglass fenders with that accident I got into I know my car would have been FUBU (f*cked up beyond understanding).

Kouki, is japanese and it basically means "after minor change" when refering to cars. So the kouki S14 would be the 97-98. Like wise with the S13, the 91-94 is the kouki model.

Zenki just means "before mindor change".

These can be attributed to any car that goes through a "minor change".

all this S14a and S14b crap is getting on my nerves. &nbsp;everyone has their own idea of which one is the A and which one is B...some people even say MCS14...which doesnt exist. &nbsp;CS14 is the chassis code for an S14 equipped with Super HICAS. &nbsp;it would be much simpler if people could use Zenki (referring to "early model"), Chuuki (referring to "middle model" which wouldnt apply to S14's), and Kouki (referring to "late model") IMO....i dunno...we should make some sort of Universal Code for referring to the different S14s....any suggestions?

Its much simpler just to refer to the years of the cars.
