View Full Version : it sucks buying stuff here recently

here is the story
I have purchased the pbm coilover suspensions through the member bziggers13, and I made the payment on Jan. 24th 2008. He said he could give me the tracking number within couple of hours after I made the payment, but he gave me the tracking number on Jan. 25th 2008. And he said USPS would pick up the item on the next day which is the 26th, and then the tracking number will go into the system. But until today (Jan. 31st), the tracking number still doesnt work. I cannot get any information on the item. I have emailed him many times, but he decided not to reply me. He has not logged in to zilvia since the day I made the payment. I called him but he doesnt answer the phone. And yesterday I emailed him, but for some reason the email got returned. It said the emailbox is unavailable. I have all the emails and pm's in my record. I dont know what I should do next. should I file a dispute on paypal?

file the dispute with paypal....also go check his account and see if he's verified, if he is, it SHOULD give you his address...mapquest it, and see if its worth $800 for you to take a trip out there and collect in person

Be patient. I've had lots of problems with the USPS tracking system. I've even received items that only showed up in the system after delivery. Also, depending on the type of shipping he chose it could sit in the post office for a couple days before the item even ships out. Although you have reason to be worried, I'd wait a couple more days before filing a dispute.

well...he is not verified..and I called paypal, they said it doesnt matter if the case is on his fault, they will still refund me. I have called him and his phone is always off. And emailed him, my emails got returned. Do you guys think paypal will refund me 100%? because i have heard people only be refunded for like 4 dollars while the item is way more than that

if paypal doesn't the bank that issued your card might...

tr is right. usps BLOWS when it comes to updating tracking info. when items are sent to me via usps, i dont even bother checking. the package always arrives before they update the info :rolleyes: . just be patient and wait a little.

With all the extreme communication problems, though I do agree USPS blows, I would rather just file now to be on the safe side. Might be able to get more money back in the meantime.
