Can anyone share any info about the SR20 valvetrain problems?  I see that Tomei makes a rocker arm stopper (RAS), this must be to address some problem?  Does anyone know what it does?  Does anyone know about what RPMs are the stiffer valve springs necessary?  Are there any known oiling problems associated with these heads?
Regards…

Hmm... i dunno personally man, but you might try posting on Fresh alloy if you haven't already, I'm sure someone over there would know.

Hydraulic valve lash adjusters may allow the rocker arms to to come off at high RPM. RAS stops this ("Rocker Arm Stopper"). You can also replace the adjusters with shim-type (lash/"rush" killer kit) for even more high-RPM insurance.
