Well how much more original can you become with a 5th game? I'll buy it mostly for the tracks, simulation, and eye(& sound) candy.

i didnt say anything about originality...i said that it got old quick. there were only a few cars and tracks on the japanese prologue release. id rather just wait for the actual game personally.

I posted about this in the GT5 thread. Didn't know they moved it to April though. If you're truly a die hard fan, like me, just get it for collection purposes. It would look nice all stacked up with the other 5 titles.

Cant really call it a demo.
The actual "DEMO" has been out for a long time, its free to download on PS3network.
Prologue is more like a beta version

Actually, we bought it last night and it is pretty fucking bad ass. I am actually playing it.... that says a lot. I hate video games and it is fun as hell to me. I am def buying the whole thing too.

Well, I guess I play the game for different reasons then. I only see GT games as getting outdated and obsolete, not "old."
I own gt5 prologue and honestly, I would wait. Yea it is cool and all but I find myself playing the gthd demo more. I dont regret buying it b/c all I used to play was gt3 and slide but in prologue there is no drift challenge like there is in HD so even though I can link everything it really is pointless.

The reason it's already a big seller in japan is because of the online play. Unless you don't realize that's the actual feature that makes the $40 shine, then don't get it.
There will be a drift event in the final build of GT5. Even though there was no drift events in GT3, I still drifted tracks. I do the same for GT5: Prologue. Sucks with stock suspension, but it's still possible.

I'm a die hard fan, but I won't be able to get a PS3 in time. But no worries, I'll get one before the final game is released.
