Thread was closed because I didn't have all the information on the car. SOooooooooo I'm back now. Like I had stated before, I am selling this for my bro-in-law. Pink slip in hand, signed and ready to go, he needs to sell this with the baby coming; I need to sell this so I can get the car out of my house!
Car is as follows:
1991 240SX SE Fastback
Color: Black
Mileage: 211,5XX
Title: clean
Besides the cone intake you see in the pics below, car is all stock.
The good:
-Engine is running STRONG, no problems at all. My bro-in-law commuted from Irvine to around, I wanna say the Carson area, Monday through Friday (sad I don't know where my sis and bro-in-law work, whatever) :)
-Little to no leaks of oil (more like no leaks of oil, but I'm trying to be realistic)
-A/C blows cold and was changed to R-134A (forgot to check this when I was taking pictures but I believe this was the case back last year. I don't recall him recharging the system with R12).
The bad:
-Besides the Headlights and hazards, the lights don't work; I checked to see if it was a grounding issue and it doesn't seem like that's the case; has to do with the power. I checked the threads here briefly and it might have to do with theeeeeee (insert the name cuz it slipped my mind) box thats near the fuses on the driver side. This is just a possible solution, however, it shouldn't be a hard fix; I simply don't have the time to work on cars like I use to.
-rear brake pads need change. no explaining needed...they need to be changed!
-interior is OOKKKKK. I mean its a 1991. same shit you see in all other 240's, driverside bolster is, can you guess? ripped! Steering wheel is not so great (that's why you get a nardi :)) dash condition is actually pretty good, only problem is it has a small crack on the driverside. no radio and no plug for it; don't ask me why it's like that, he bought the car like that.
-sunroof latch is broken. go to the junkyard and get a new one. if you're baller call up west covina nissan and get a new one.
-paints crap on the bumpers (see pics below)
-gas cover does not lock (go to the junk yard)
-trunk cover actuators no good (go to the junk yard)
That's about it. I'm trying to give you guys a clear picture of what to expect before coming to check it out in person. Again, I'm trying to be honest with the description as well as the price. Because of this, I will not entertain Or Best Offers. Price is firm at $1,300. If you come to check the car out and decide you want it, DO NOT COME WITH $1,275, YOU ARE NOT GETTING THE CAR. $1,300 FIRM MEANS $1,300 FIRM. This is not my money, not my car, so I dont give a crap.
How to see the car:
Because of my schedule, the opportunity to see this car in person is very limited. It will only be available on Saturdays (message me and make an appointment if you're serious). First come first serve. If you're serious about the car, schedule the meet earlier on the Saturday. Whoever gets the money to me first gets the car. No exceptions (ie - dibs first, second, etc)
