Do you have to take off the steering column trim to do so. My car never had the key hole trim when I bought, so I dunno how to put the one I bought on.

You're talking about the little piece that surrounds the ignition key hole? As far as I knew, you just pop it on.

Hey u ever get my pm on those mud flaps...still got em

Anyway back to the topic at hand. Went out side to give it a try, and sure enough it popped in, but my only concern is if it will stay in. Seems the only thing that would hold it in is 2 plastic tabs on the back side, and ring of plastic. I thought the tabs would be hooked at the ends so they piece would sorta snap in place like other trime pieces, but they don't. Sorta look like two plastic teeth lol. I thought maybe the tabs had hooked ends that got broke off during removal, but the ends are smooth showing no signs of breakage.

The piece can easily be pulled off, but does seem to be on there snug. That sound about right?

Thanks again guys

How about $50 shipped for the flaps?

And that's how my key ring is. I just thought they were broken. They don't really fall off unless you move it harshly.

Yeah a combination of it being snug around the lock and the 2 tabs hold it in.

mine wasn't snug and those tabs didn't hold crap. i had to use some fender tape to stick it on, but it just fell off the other day..held for about 2 years, not bad i guess.
