I run them, they weren't very hard to install in my CF hood, trusty dremel and a little patience. I'd rather run no pins, but these are the best looking IMO and if you are running a CF/FG hood they are a must.

Enjuku racing sells them. I was thinking of picking up a set for myself. Gonna be hard cutting my CF hood though *yikes*..

at least they come with a REAL key..not like the other cheap ones that have the circular key with one little tooth at the end...
they actually dont look too bad installed.

I like them, but I'm a bigger fan of the truly flush ones. Unfortunately I've been told that those can't or shouldn't be used with car hoods.

if u paint them body color or have them on a c/f hood they aren't THAT noticeable

I have a set, but I haven't installed em yet. They're not that bad looking IMO. But its a good security for thieves who would normally cut your alarm wires to silence it.

I will probably get these. Just another thing I will need a key for in my car at all times. I got a buddy that bought them for his car and never used them. So if he still has them, I get mad hook up!

Love mine. And the latch mechanism is definately much more secure then the average hood pin.
Recommend them for sure.
They kinda blend in with CF

They can, I think the locks cost extra. there were 2 models, 1 had it, the other didn't. I think the lockable ones were like $20 more or something.

I can get the locking type for $95 shipped.
+1 to meh and everyone else who followed the damn install instructions.
The flush ones look awesome but I'll stick with the plus flush thx.

MOST hoods come with latches. its up to you. i'm using sparco pins (carbon hood, latch) with the latch lock (on the radiator support). no problemo.

They are good for a dailydriver but i would not put them on a track car, my motor cought on fire and i took too long to unlock them and get the hood open and all of my wire harness and intake tube was burnned =(

If you get the lockable ones is it possible to leave them unlocked (keeping the hood shut, but not needing the key to open them)? That way you don't need the key everytime you want to open the hood when you're at the track, or if your engine bay catches on fire like someone said.

These are under 20$
don't break every time you open them
aren't gigantic and gross looking.
and since it seems to be a selling point, are actually used on real racecars.
I'd post dzus fasteners because thats actually what real racecars use but god knows none of you guys could figure out how to set them up.
