I've been thinking about selling my Q45 lately so I figured I'd post it up and see what happens. I'm on the fence about selling it so if I don't get my asking price I wouldn't mind keeping it. I've owned it for about a year and I'm just getting the itch to get something new. It's been my daily driver and I haven't had a single problem with it. I've taken it on many 3-5 hour drives, to Ocean City, Southern MD, even up to NJ. It actually rides great, especially for how low it is. Engine purrs like a kitten, lots of torque, pretty quick for a big sedan. Interior is black with leather, super clean, only flaw is two small holes on the lower right dash from PO (I used them to install a holder for my sirius receiver). There are a couple of dings on the exterior, but paintless dent repair should be able to get them all out. I just haven't gotten around to it and they're hardly noticeable anyway.
Car has 88k on it right now and I've done some maintenance to it, mostly in the past 5 months:
fuel filter
trans fluid and filter
air filter
spark plugs
cabin filter
I have brand new front rotors and pads that I haven't installed because it doesn't need them yet
It has been extremely reliable and should last another 100k no problem.
Mods are:
JIC VIP-FLT-A2 coilovers
SSR Vienna Kreiss wheels, 19x10 +16 (with 10mm spacer and ext. studs) and 19x11 +11
Falken 235/35 front, brand new 275/30 on the rear
rolled fenders, not pulled
50% window tint
HIDs
Yellow fog light bulb inserts (very bright yellow)
Very light blue headlight/foglight vinyl (almost like the newer lexus headlights)
JP fusa
LED tag lights
The wheels have been on the car for about 8k miles. I bought them used, two have curb rash from the previous owner in Japan. There are brand new Falken tires on the rear (just installed tonight). The coilovers have been on the car for about 5k miles. I previously had some used JICs but they were blown and I couldn't get them rebuilt so I bought brand new FLT-A2s instead. They ride great, there is NO rubbing in the front. The rear only rubs on big bumps when it hits the top inside of the fenderwell but really only when I have people in the back seat. There is still plenty of suspension travel and they could go probably 2" lower in the front and 3" in the rear if you wanted. There are no front ABS sensors because I couldn't get them out of the stock knuckles. I'm in MD, easiest way to see the car is at M-A Motorsports in Baltimore. I can bring it to work to show it.
Price is $12,000
