H&R springs?

I just wanted to know if anybody had these springs or has heard anything good or bad about them on our cars (i have an S14). I was thinking about getting them because i heard the eibach pro-kits hardly give a noticeable drop and the sportlines were too low...that is if you've got a kit or the chin spoiler. The H&R springs are listed to have a 1.4 in. drop in the front and a 1.3 in. drop in the rear, so thats right in between the pro-kits and the sportlines. But i dont know anything about them so your opinions would really help. Thanks.

i'm thinking basically along the same line that you are.  i want a spring that will give a noticable drop but not too much.  i was thinking about H&R.  from what i understand, they are supposed to be good, but i have nothing to back that up.

I put them on my '98 in April and have nothing but good things to say about them. I chose them for the exact reasons you gave. I also have them, on my 92. &nbsp;but I really can't put a referrence on them vs other brands, as these were the first ones I've tried...but they're much better then stock! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

as far as lowering, it looks good IMHO...and it's not too low to worry about most road hazards...in fact, I still get the "so when are you going to lower it?" question from people (who always just happen to drive honda/acura's by coincidence).

Chris (nismo270r) has had em on his car, for a while, and he likes them. They are good springs for street setup. He may be selling his springs though, just a heads up <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

I wouldn't necessarily say that H&R are better than Eibach, but I have heard nothing but good things about them. They have been in the special springs business for a long time, and are a trusted tuner among european car (BMW, VW, Audi, Porsche, Benz) owners (such as myself).
On the other hand, Eibach seems to cater more to the japanese car market. Not that that's either good or bad.

I'm sure you're right. They're just good springs that fall right between the ProKits and SportLines, and that's exactly what I was looking for... <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

All the same reasons I put them on my s14. I love em for a daily driver but you do still hit the lip spoiler.
