36" 3 rib ps belt? +rep for youuu if so

Does it exist? 3 rib ps belt, 36" long. My checkers doesn't have it but I need one. +rep to first person to link me to one and/or give a PN I can use at checkers, autozone, napa, any parts store.. Thanks :love:

do you have the P/N to the belt you DO have, as in maybe you have gotten the wrong one?
If so, you can replace the number that equates to whatever you DO have to the 36" equivalent and you would have that P/N.
I know this applies to the ones they sell at Advance Auto here in the states. Being in Japan might be a problem for you this time.

hey Phlip, nah I don't have any belt. It's this whole mess with the RB; it has a HICAS 4 rib ps pump pulley with a non-HICAS 3 rib crank pulley. So according to the parts store, 35" is the longest a 3 rib comes in, which is a touch too short. I can probably find a 4 rib 36 but then that won't work on the crank pulley... I already have WTBs up for a 4 rib crank pulley or a 3 rib ps pump, but it' far easier and cheaper to try to find a 3 rib 36" belt...

Oops, the beer definitely confused you with someone else, sorry about that.
To expound on what I was saying, though, and this ONLY applies to Advance Auto Parts (since it is less than 2 miles from my house, Bicycle distance), go in looking for the belt for the KA, which would be 39". The Dayco P/N is "5030390."
You see the '39' in that number? REPLACE that with the length of your choosing (3 digits, that is: 39" becomes 390, 36.5" becomes '365' etc...) and they should be able to take care of you, even if they must go back to the shelf 5 times and won't be able to find it by the specific car in their little system.

Yeah I know what you mean with the #s, thats what I did tonight but all I can seem to turn up are 35s and 40s. I'm going to search around more see if anyone even makes one this size...

Check that out. Second page (86), second column, number 360J3. hopefully that should work, if not just look through that list, it's sure to be there if they make it.

Wow just realized how much the the autozone and napa websites suck for searching for parts.. Gotta specify your vehicle and for some reason RB in s13 with mismatched pulleys isn't an option...

Well I found out you can do wildcard searches on the gates website.

Should be a listing of all 30" to 39" 3 rib auto belts they have.

All I see is a 36.5" belt, K030365

Then on their other search, find application by part #, it shows that belt gets used on:

Infiniti
J30 1993,1994,1995,1996,1997
Q45 1997,1998,1999,2000,2001
Nissan
300ZX 1990,1991,1992,1993,1994,1995,1996

Guess it's worth a try, think it'll be too long tho.

Edit: They also have a K040358 and K040360.. Either should work with the 4 rib R34/RB26 crank pulley
