I wasn't sure where to post this. I did a retrofit for a guy on another forum. I know this isn't a Nissan but its usually the same for most fog lights. I took a few pics of the steps. These are the same capsules that I had for sale here.

Tools used: Screwdriver and Dremel with 2 types of cutting bits.
You can find them at Home Depot.

Started by cutting out the stock bulb holder with the circular cutting bit.

After cutting it off, I made the hole bigger with the smaller metal cutter.

I kept checking to see if it fits so I wouln't make the hole too big. I wanted to get a snug fit.

Test Fitment and it fit fine. It touches the inside cutoff shield a bit but it doesn't get in the way.

Finally I used silicone around the inner edges to keep it in place. He's gonna let it dry for 24 hours before installing them on his car. I'll post some night time pics when all done.

Here's a teaser shot.

They look a lot brighter in person. The camera and angles suck. :/

You can't compare yellow bulbs to these. I've gone through bulbs, yellow paint, and clear vinyl. None of the compares to this. There's a reason why JDM cars went with these and not any of the above.

HID's are nice and bright but cost 5x more.

Yeah, the yellow bulbs don't compare to the capsuels. here's a link on other nissans.

I retrofitted these into my Canadian DTRL a long time ago since I got them for free

I was a noob fitting these and I cracked the capsule, but they still lit up brighter than my yellow bulbs that I had....

Thanks guys. Good to hear from people that have actually tried and know what they're talking about. Some ignorant people are so quick to speak without actually knowing, and another is trying to advertise his cheap fading bulbs.

Nice write-up, I have like 10 pairs of these capsules too myself that I sell to USDM DA Integra guys who want yellow fogs, but not the JDM one-piece lights, as these capsules bolt right in, no modifications needed at all. (Duh, since they came out of an Acura)
