This was passed down from RHDJAPAN to me and seeing if there are any interests. Here it is:
We are looking for interested applicants for an exporting job here in Tokyo. RHDJapan is an exporter of Japanese goods, primarily after-market vehicle racing parts and OEM replacement parts. RHDJapan is run by two individuals who graduated from an American School in Okinawa in 1996. We are a small fast paced company with 7 employees, looking for the 8th.
We require the job applicant to have native proficiency in English, a knowledge of Japanese cars and racing, and proper working visa. Salary is commensurate upon qualification. MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN JAPAN.
Interested parties please inquire to Patrick Antell or Russell Hobbs at

How much do they pay? Japan is expensive so I'd hope they would pay well.

I told one of my bum friends about it haha. Told him he can stay with me and stuff, he's thinkin about it right now cause it's a BIIIIG difference from Okinawa.... and a BIIIIG ass life decision!!
We're trying to avoid the work visa because theres a chance we could get denied. Thats why they wanted me to add the must live in Japan part.

Im sofa approved but I believe you cant get a second job off base with that. Anyone sure on that?

It has to be approved through your command but most off base businesses won't deal with someone who is Sofa status as it's near impossible to get you on a payroll and they don't want to deal with the problems of you not having to show up to work because of TDY/ TAD or whatever...
