yo where is a good place to go fising in so cal except for the ocean

There's like a man-made lake in Anaheim/Orange somewhere. It's off the 57 (Lincoln) or 91 (Glassel). You pay a fee to get in and you can go fishing.

I think you're talking about Santa Ana River Lakes. They're more like giant ponds. The have a good amount of catfish and trout.

You can also hit up Irvine Lake. Nice size lake that has a lot of catfish and trout. The bass there is not as popular so you don't hear how good the action can get.

Another OC lake is Laguna Niguel but its a bit more like a giant pond as well.

I used to go a bit further out of OC and hit up Puddingstone but man the bass action is dead there now.

Take the twisties up to Azusa Canyon and fish in the streams there or in one of the lakes. You will need a license. It is a little cold and now that I think about it, you may need chains... Hmmm. Have fun.

lake wolford in escondito, is pretty good for vcarp catfish bass and trout if you have the right rigs and spots.

Corona Lake is good went there last friday caught my limit plus some and my dad got a 7 lb trout on Powerbait. It is a little expensive.

Used to sneek into a old folks home with a lake at night Los Serranos they had great Bass and Killer Bluegill biggest I have seen. But then Security came along and we never returned.:cry: Anglers Little Lake in Hemet is also good went there last week did goo. Only trout though.

^Some do. I dunno about all. The few times I've gone, the lakes on these courses seemed to be fully stocked. lol
