View Full Version : my 98 240sx ka24de starting problem

hey i have a 98 240sx with a ka24de in it....the car use to have an sr20det motor in there, i took it out and did a ka24de swap out of a 97 240sx so i can get it smog...the last owner i bought the car from did the sr20det swap...after i was done with the ka24de swap i notice that i still have alot of sensor left unplug, i have no ideal wat those sensor are for....i try starting my car and now there no power, no light no nothing, the car wouldnt even crank....i thought it was the battery, i had it test and charge, still there isnt any power so now im thinking that it might be the sensor that are left unplug but i cant find another sensor to get it plug into so now im just lost as hell....any help would be grreat

Factory service manual will tell you were to plug in each one of those sensors, and gives a diagram of the wiring harness. It will save you headache and trouble.

dont worry, having a physical FSM is more convenient and easier to use in the field anyway.

but yea, having a book is nice for in garage work, as not everyone has a computer in their garage to look at pdf files.

Who needs a computer in the garage, I spent $1.20 in paper printing up each PDF page.
