have an 89' 240sx fastback with SR20DET,which exhaust is better, apexi GT spec or N1. GT has 3.7"  diameter while the N1 has 3". what's better for more power and back pressure for the turbo to breathe? anyone with an SR20DET have GT and satisfied? please let me know! thanks!

The GT spec, if I'm not mistaken is made for race use and is made of titanium to preserve weight. Also, the smaller diameter of the GT spec is supposed to leave you with a bit more torque. The N1 muffler end is made of stainless steel but I'm not sure about the pipe. From what I hear, the N1 Dual is supposed to be good because the smaller twin mufflers will keep your back pressure descent and with full open throttle it is able to let the engine breathe good. I personally like the look of the GT spec better though <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> .

Hey, sorry, I just checked and the GT-spec is a full stainless steel catback exhaust.

I have the GT-Spec on my 90 coupe, with an S14 DET and I think that exhaust is awesome. When I get that thing up to wide open throttle, tit growls nicely, nice and throaty. But with the piping being 3.75-inch it takes a bit for the spool to really hit, even with the ball bearing turbo. from my experience, low end is alright, nothing too bad for daily driving and sporting around, but when you get on the highway and let that puppy run, it all of a sudden pulls hard. Its a nice feel and great sound. I bought the car wit the N1-3 inch and it was alright with the KA in there. But with the DET, I like GT-Spec, and its better low end with the silencer in
