View Full Version : pulling apart a donor block.

took apart a long block. it has no history. only thing i know is that it over heated. but guy told me that it just stop running and it was going to change the head to find out what happen to it.

The thing was dirty as hell! head was all gunked up from crap so im guessing the valves got stuck.

From taking off the head i found that the ports on the headgaskets were block like meng this stuff was as hard as the head gasket it self. Wonder how that happend?

lucky for me i have 2 s14 long blocks, 1 S13 long block overheated too

s14 blown ring glands from boostin low miles head forshure.
s14 over heated no history only thing i know it stop running.
s13 came with my car blown headgasket and has a grip of miles.


so out with the old in with the new.!
after saving and saving and being screwed over by some guy that flakeds and took like 1500 of money from me and 3 others!

did you buy the s14 block off a dude in lake elsinore aka vinh?

naw. it came out of a red auto 95 obd I s14 that was non running.
