Does anyone know how to get the damn pulley off the PS pump?
I can't get the pump out because its... stuck. So the pulley doesn't spin which disables me from removed the pump as the bolts behind the pulley are concealed. There is no bolt holding the pulley in. After checking the FSM it seems there should be one... i guess the previous owner may have removed it. :-/
I searched and found this (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=67173&highlight=pulley+removal).... as you can see, its extremely helpful. :keke:
Thanks in advance, guys.

Oh btw i have tried a few things to get it out.
Asking it nicely.
Bribing it.
Bashing it with a rubber mallet.
Crying/cursing at it... you know the usual.

get a puller. like any of these ones. you won't need to bribe or or give it head or anything. you won't even need pwr tools.

Oh, i see! Sweet i'll need to get a hold of one. I could even make one with ease.
Never knew such a tool existed. Thank you! +rep.
Giving it head was my next plan of action, i'm glad you enlightened me.

ya everytime i hit a wall like that i just reference either the snap on, matco, or mac catalog and they almost always have something for it. but its usually pricey and i'll probably only ever use it once. o well.

I am pretty sure there should be a bolt holding that pulley on. It should come right off with no bolt holding it. Puller should work. Make sure to bolt it in the the new pump. I would also just get a KA pump and swap the pulley. Most likely cheaper.
three bolts holding the bracket to the engine.
thats the ones you need to remove
and pulley has a bolt right on front of it.
The pulley is NOT a press fit - remove the one bolt at its hub and it comes right off. The PS pump shaft has triangular teeth that fit into grooves on the pulley, but there it takes zero effort to remove the pulley after you take the nut off.

its not a press fit, but you cant un-do the bolt becuse it'll just keep spinning.
grab it down with a vice and go for it.
should be plenty good.. dont grip the belt area now...
