Would any one know if the dimmer switch is bad would that also make the gage cluster not light up?

Bought a new Light switch, and a new TCU (Time Control Unit).

how about blown fuse,
how about new stereo/ hooking up the dimmers wrong.
the dimmer switch wouldnt effect if your lights turn on or not
do your normal parking lights turn on in front of your car???
if not maybe a bad headlight switch....

have not checked the fuses. just got a brand new light switch from nissan this morning. no the parking lights and the gage cluster do not work..

I dont think its the fuse only becouse i just checked them last week and they where fine, I do know that last week and this is diffrent so ill have to check the fuse's again.

Also with the stereo the dimmer was not hooked up. wire was cut and taped off. so that would rule out that.

why wouldnt it?
if its suck closed it will never see that you turned the switch not flipping the relay, not turning on your lights...

There is no parking light relay. they're direct powered through the switch.

so then what ur trying to say is that the dimmer will not effect the parking lights. So I replaced the TCU, and the switch. The parking lights come on when the alarm is set, but will not work when I turn the light on.

Checked all the fuse's they are fine, again new light switch, and so called new TCU from the juck yard. but the lights still only want to work when they want to. Any thoughts?
