Why not a tank engine?

Seems a little overkill unless he mounts a turret on top, then it would be cool.

WOW!

Anyone know what motor that actually is? I think the person who built/owns the car could car a little less about wieght distribution as there is a 99% chance the only turns that car will see are to move around in a shop and to get on and off of the drag strip.

Link says it's an 1100 ci Sherman tank engine. Only ~500HP, but over 1000 ft/lbs.

Says the thing peaks at 2600 rpm. With that powerglide, he should be able to run up to what? 50mph? 70? Unless his rear end is ridiculously geared, he's not going anywhere fast.
Still cool though.
