i got a whole 5 bolt diff and pumpkin for my 13

heres the problem.

one of the threaded ends that goes from the difff out to the hub was fucked up. fine ill exchange it out.

but even on the op side the 34mm nut wont fit the good one?:aw:

it wont bite on to the threads at all.

are the end nuts diffrent on the 5 bolt vs a 6 bolt?

Nope, the nuts are the same. And yeah, if your output shaft threads are fuxed, you need to replace em.

About your cap nut not grabbing, I'd say check the threads on the end of the axle - sometimes they get messed up. Get it to grab a couple threads and it should slide right on there. Don't forget the "castle"/cotter pin also.

the nut isnt stripped on either one. and the good sideshaft it still wont bite..

I know it sounds lame, but did you try cleaning the threads out with a metal brush and flipping the nut over? I had a somewhat difficult time with mine, even though everything looked totally like it was in good condition. GL ~
