Lately my power windows have been acting funny, sometimes they wont go down, sometimes they will, then some times they go down and wont go back up.  I have to beat the door panel a little and play with the switch to get it to go back up.  Does this sound like a switch problem or an amp problem?  And anybody have a clue what the amp cost to replace?
Thanks

just go to a salvage yard and get a window motor for cheap, and check if wires are loose and such.  it's an easy replacement, just pull door panel off and it should be there.

You have to pull the whole window assembly in order to change the motor. You must be talking about the amp.

Sounds like your motor is crapping out on you. Does your switch click both ways? My switch was broken and would constantly telling the motor to go down eventually burning it out. After replacing the motor two times I finaly changed the switch.

taking the windows assebly isn't that hard. Hopefully you have an FSM to guide you.
