is there a code 34 on the ECU?

im not sure, bro, pretty much what is happening is my RPM's they flicker im guessing dirty injectors? but why does it run so good when its cold? but than again it could be a code 34, cause this was all caused from a HARD bump

check your injector o-rings first, as they can be a cause of trouble. my lower o-rings were bad, and it was causing fuel to dump in the engine, but only when it warmed up. ran like a champ when it was cold, just like yours.

do you have a ka or an SR, because on a KA, ive seen cracked spark plug wires (the plastic) that worked fine when it was cold, but at normal operating temperature, they would lose spark.

i'm having a similar problem too. sorry for the noob question but do you have to remove the injectors to check the injector o-rings?

yes, but its fairly easy. remove the wire plugs from each injector, unscrew the 2 screws holding the metal retainer on, and then pull the injector out. check both the top and the bottom o-rings. if they are damaged in any way, replace. to reinstall, make sure that you lube the o-rings up with some oil before installing. then just push the injector back in the fuel rail, pushing until it snaps into place. then reinstall the metal retainer with the attached screws. then connect the wire plugs. do not force the injector into the rail with the retainer, as this can damage the o-rings. the injectors should just pop into place.

Just to start you should ohm out the injectors to test them electrically. As I recall they should have about 12ohms of resistance. Injectors are a VERY common failure in higher mileage/age nissans.

you could run some injector cleaner but i would suggest checking and replacing the spark plugs and wires first.

yes, its a single cam, and yeah the plugs and wires have been replaced, while back spark plug number 3 the tip was crack so that had to cause the misfire, but when i changed everything it stil ran the same, could be the o right gottta check on it thanks for the info!:bigok:

try pulling the spark plug wire one at a time, if there is no change to the way the motor is running, you have narrowed the problem. check wire, spark plug, and injector for the given cylinder. you may also want to check your timing.

plugs and wires are coo, timing is coo too, only thing i gotta do is check the injectors ima go do it tommrow! if not ima just swap it new ones and see what happens.. more input please!

^^^^^^^ agreed
if your O rings were bad you would smell a strong smell of gas.
I agree with checking spark plug wires the hotter the engine compartment the more resistance the spark plug wires will have causing a crappy spark...
dont waist time and money on injectors if you havnt changed your spark plug wires in a while......... most miss fires are spark related.

i do smell a little bit of gas when i think back...., but yes i have changed the spark plugs and wires already....i have a whole set of injectors off another motor i might swap in my hatch to see if its the injectors or o rings....but i dont think its the spark cause like i said.. when i drive when its cold it runs fine its just when its normal temp damn rpm flickers!:-/
