ok so last weekend I was at the 626 event and all day my car didn't give me a problem, well at the end one of the pipes came off but that was no biggie. So than after this I go home and like 30 miles away from home my car starts acting up. I was going about 65 and all of a sudden it felt like something was phisically pulling my car back. This would be with my foot on throttle all the way, at first I thought I was running out of was cause I was on empty so I pulled over and got gas. I go back on on the freeway and it was doing it again but worse. The car would shut off and wouldn't want to start back on. I got it to start and drove it home all the way like that. It was the scariest drivenof my life. So I get home ok and the next morning I go and see if I can find the problem and i look at my sidemount and I see this medium sized hole. Was that what was making it act the way it did? The car turns on no problem and stays on now. Sorry for the long post and any help is appreciated.

Btw the car is an s13 with an rb20 and ill post a pic of the sidemount later tonight

Take it to a radiator repair store, they should be able to weld it back up for you.

well i have a frount mount but i hate the piping...its super ugly and fitment sucks balls lol i just wanted to try out the sidemount and see how i liked it and i liked it better than the front mount. Im guessing the sidemount moved and my tire hit it?

You can do a boost leak test. For reason I do not want to type it up, look at fightergarage (google it). They make a boost leak tester for the rx7, but same theory applies. You pretty much need a compressor to pressurize you piping and listen to leaks.
