i have 15x7 +27 offset.
clears coilovers and z brakes. perfect
16x7 would be same of course
oh mine are Kosei K1s
just about flush with fender, not FLUSH like the +14 offset (my rears 15x6.5) but pretty darn close!
It depends largely on the spoke design of a wheel whether or not they'll clear Z or even stock brakes.
Believe it or not, but I have a pair of old school Volk racing rims that DON'T clear my STOCK front calipers... they're 15x7 +5. And no, I'm not missing a "0" at the end of the +5. They're 5mm offsets and don't clear stock front calipers! Ridiculous! It's a good thing I only have two, 'cause they clear the rears just fine. -_-
edit: I would stay with an offset between +20 and +35 or so to make it look good.

The stock wheels are ~+40 so they'll fit.
They just won't fit flush, and you might have coilover or caliper clearance problems.

ok, thanks for the input, ill give em a try...looks like the spokes flare out so esp. w/ 16" wheels i dont think ill have any caliper problems. and as far as springs go i prefer regular springs/struts since i live in the northeast and see alot of snow and salt air...less shit to go wrong.

you WILL need spacers for those wheels to clear Z brakes.

Are you getting them off that Miata? If so, I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern is 4x100, not 4x114.3 like ours.
edit: never mind...it looks like they accommodate both bolt patterns

hmmm, scratch that ideal then if they wont work w/ the 300 calipers. Ill probably like to upgrade someday so i wanna keep my options open....
anyone know if racing hart c3,c5,cp8, or c10 in 17" clear the 300zx calipers?
