How many cars do you have?

Just a question no pictures or what not. There is a thread of pictures. Just wondering how many cars do fellow members have. And no this isnt a race or anything on who has more.

I have 4. I dont like having so many but thats just life. Im asking because it seems like its more of a hassle to work every car that i own or in some instances, parts fail and you gotta replace them. progress on the cars also slow down because you dont know which one to work on and what not.

The for sale thread also doesnt help because when i look at it ill be like oh that will be good for this car or for that car.

then i had my fc and my camry at the same time for 18 months

had my fc, bike, and camry all at the same time for 2 months

I've tried to build more than one at a time, and it's really hard to do, so now I just concentrate on one at a time.

For example, my current list:
1987 Toyota Supra turbo 5-speed: In wisconsin, future project/sentimental value.
My first "nice" car.

1986.5 Supra: In wisconsin, parts car for turbo, and my brother's two supras.

1987 Ford Ranger: Retired and returning to the earth.
My first vehicle.

1997 Jaguar XK8: SoCal, Daily driver.

1974 Plymouth Duster: Current project.

1989 240SX S13.4: Complete. awaiting repairs, then being sent off to the much more modified car friendly midwest for safekeeping.
After I get my Duster done, I'll start on the S13's replacement, something old, smog-exempt, Japanese, and GTR-powered.

I have 2 Right now. The first is my 1990 240sx, which was my first car. And then I bought a 1992 Talon TSi. They are both kind of projects right now, but the Talon is getting more into it at the moment. The engine is out and being rebuilt, but that is kind of on hold do to IT IS FUCKING FREEZING HERE! And I am just doing it in the garage. On the 240 I'm doing the suspension then I'm selling the Talon and buying a Sr20det. Thats the plan anyways..

Visiongarage- I have the same problem as you... BALANCING cars and budget. People often make fun of me because i have more cars than most families, but at times, none(or 1) actually run.

Although it CAN BE fun as a hobby, it is often more of an ADDICTION that becomes stressfull and EXTREMELY TIME CONSUMING. The only thing i've found to help is to at least have one halfway decent car that can be used for dates and getting around town without being TOTALLY embarassed/stared at.

The hardest part for me is NOT looking in classifieds/craigslist every day. It seems like i ALWAYS find SOMETHING i need for one of my cars, driving my bank account into the ground...

How do you afford insurance? Get a good job or do not ever get into an accident.

I know with geico they have a storage policy that lowers the rates. I did that with my one s13 and I am only allowed to drive it 4 miles a month.

Not sure how it works elsewhere, but in PA, if you want to keep your plates, insurance is needed.
