EDIT:

That just makes me nervous watching that baby floating there.

that is kind of cool, If i owned a pool and somehow also was able to afford a kid (as well as a pool), i would def do this.

Although they left that main baby in the pool for what seemed like 4 hours

New born babies already now how to float and have a reflex to swallow water instead of inhaling it. All you have to do is teach them to roll over, as long as they don't die of hypothermia(not likely for babies) they could stay there indefinitely.

My mother told me that she had me in the pool as soon as it wasn't to cold for her. I don't remember learning how to swim, I just do it. lol

Wow, I felt uncomfortable watching that. Very impressive of the baby to instinctively know what to do. How do you teach a child that young!?

if you own an in-ground pool (or any pool) and have a small child, it's your responsibility to keep them out of the fucking pool. it'd be a lot easier to remember to close the back door than to train your infant to swim.
that said, that's pretty amazing that they DID teach that kid to not drown.

I have an inground pool and they had me in teh pool when i was a baby,, dunno if i was an infant tho (infant is like a little after newly born right?)

If I'm not mistaken, infants that are put in water will instinctively hold their breath. I seen a story about these people that train their babies about being in water right away. It was on the news.

if you can afford an inground pool, you can afford a fence... plain and simple.

WTF. Why would i want to teach my kid that?

I got a pool for a reason. Drowning babies. Man, this throws my plan outta whack. Stupid ISR.
