i changed my spark plugs on my sr20det a few days ago with a set of BKR7E. after that it has been running rich and backfiring a lot. i ignored it till today. while driving on the freeway to work, the car suddenly just stalls. i tried to start it back up but the car die immediately if i didnt gas it. i ended up towing it to a shop near by. they took out the plugs and all of them were looking foul. so i bought set of plugs that a guy suggested at kragen. we putted them in and the car would be doing the same. it wouldnt hold idle. he ended up revving the engine and squeezing the fuel line to the fpr to lean it out, cause he kept telling me that the car was just running too rich. he ended up adjusting the fpr so where the car can hold idle. but it still seem a little low. the car would look like its going to die out every time i throw it back in neutral. after i got home i tried to turn it off and turn it back on again. it took me several tries, but it started up. im gonna not touch it and hope it will turn on next time when i need it to. he tells me to get a new FPR. the owner before me had a nismo fpr type a in there. what do you guys think? should i follow his advice and get a new fpr and hope it works? couldnt it be something that is wrong?
