So i got a code 33 which i am going to assume its a bad front o2 sensor.
This has happened before about 2 or 3 years ago.
I have a 95 zenki with the stock motor
So my question is,
a) is it a three wire or a single wire.
b) on kragen.com there is a upstream and a downstream one, which is it? http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductList.aspx?PartType=291&PTSet=A
c) im assuming the front o2 sensor is the one attached to the headers on the driver side of the engine.

Thanks for your help!

If it's a front then it should be 1 wire, and according to ka24development.com it is the front o2 sensor. So just buy the upstream one. Should be cheap and universal.

Thanks! Do you know how hard it is to replace it? Never done it before. And what tool(s) are needed? Thanks, i just dont want to screw anything up.

It's real easy, just grab a crescent wrench, or a big box-end wrench (21mm?) and turn it off, if you get the universal o2, clip the wire on the top of the sensor, and solder it to the new one so you get to retain the boot and connector, screw the new on in, and plug it in. Should take all of 5 min.

Thanks alot! I already replaced it. It took 2 min to do the whole thing. So easy.

one last thing, will my check engine light go off on its own or do i have to reset the ecu? Because i started my car up and drove it around and the check engine light is still on.

-Edit - Just reset my ecu. Everything seems to be fine.

Best thing to do would be to reset it, then drive around and make sure it doesn't come back on. But I think if it's all good it should go off after a while of driving. But don't quote me on that last part.
