ka24de
i'm leaking on my s14 and it's coming from somewhere in front of the front cover down the middle, but can't get a clear view where it's coming from with all the junk in the way

i assume the waterpump seal/drain hole..but i see one near the top that is not leaking, is there another one along the bottom as well?

^^^ Yes, the 'weep hole'...

Buy an OEM one, or be prepared to do it again, soon.

yeah i work at asc ind. and we supply the water pumps to world basically ... when the seal goes bad it will leak from the bottom hole ... if you use a nice radiator stop leak it will last so you can nurse it home or get a new one .... but definetly replace it with a new one

if the bottom's called the weep hole, what's the top one called & what's that one for, is it to tell us that it's bad while we drive upside down?

just curious, or is does it have something to deal with needing some air to let the bottom weep hole drip or something? Just want a better understanding

Thats definantly coming from your weep hole on the bottom, mine did the same thing but im a very cheap and got a "new" pump from the junkyard and it holds water fine
