Im letting my other thread die in hopes that a new title and better description will make a sale faster. I recently bought this car but after a few months of trying to find the perfect swap for it, I can't spend the money now though because I'm moving. RB motors fit V8s fit and JZ motors fit. The car runs great and pulls just fine, but I swear I have the horsepower bug without money to fund it.

Rust:
I can't find any rust in the dog legs, fenders, gas fill hole, spare tire well, or the floorboards.

Interior:
The seats are in excellent condition, and the interior is complete. The dash has cracks in it, but most 36 year old dashes do. The cracks can be easily remedied by following some of the online tutorials Ive found. It also comes with a dash cap if you just want to glue it down and not worry about it.

Engine:
The engine is obviously not the stock one because the stock 240 came with a 2.4 liter engine. This is a 280z motor with 2.8 liters and it has carbs for a very simple set up. The engine starts every time and is very reliable. I have no qualms with it. I just can't fund it while in school.

Exhaust:
The exhaust only goes to the center of the car and ends with a glasspack. I believe the previous owner removed the other half before selling it. It sounds very mean, but it's also loud and gives the interior a little bit of an exhaust smell. Not a hard or expensive fix depending on what you want to do about it.

Exterior:
The outside of the car has almost no dents. Its super clean and I get compliments and stares everywhere I go. Its not a perfect job, but it looks damn good. Only dent is on the hatch and its hard to see without the right lighting.

I want to sell it for 5000 OBO. Or trade for a clean Turbo MR2 or Turbo 240sx. Equality is key, I don't have money to add, but I want to work something out. Let me know through email and include pictures

If I had the money I'd be at your door right now. I've been wanting a 240Z or 510 project for so long :(

no idea on the mileage.

LSX swaps are ridiculous (in a good way). I rode in a SBC 350 240z and I was glued to the seat the entire time. It was awesome

Get some money people. I need a reliable school car that isn't FWD

I took some more pictures just to prove how rust-free it is. Unfortunately I don't have my camera cable to upload the pictures...yet.

I'll edit this post and post pics.

It is very reliable. I just don't want to get an unreliable car if I trade someone. I drive this car everyday to work and school.

Thanks, today was a good day for compliments. I got so many just running around doing errands. It was cool because of the broad age range of the people. It seems to appeal to everyone.....sooo someone should buy it.

what year is it? 70,71, or 72?

how are the frame rails?

and would you consider this car capable of driving to florida?

Jaketenpointo

I think so, but but I can't guarantee anything. If it were me buying it, I'd probably have it shipped. Easier on the car and the buyer.

****bump for a clean ride. do you have any suspension work done to the car. Looks lowered****

Turtle

I believe thats how the 240z's are the top mount thing on strut is short. The 280z is I believe 3 inches taller on the strut. So many people confuse it and believe 240z had suspension work done. At least when I had my 240z I have a 280z and 280zx. =]
