Can anyone give me the offset and width? they don't run a staggered setup on those cars do they?
I'm pretty sure they are from a 91 300z as the calipers are 30mm aluminum.

Thanks
Jed

not sure of the offset, but i'm 99% sure the sizes are:

front: &nbsp;16x7.5" &nbsp;5x114.3mm
rear: &nbsp;16x8.5" &nbsp;5x114.3mm

Interesting. both of the tires I have read 205's. How would I find out which rim is wider?

Thanks

easy option: &nbsp;set them on the floor and see which is taller.
harder option: &nbsp;measure the rim.

one thing to consider: &nbsp;the NON-TURBO Z32's came with the same wheels and tires front and rear. &nbsp;only the turbos had a staggered setup. &nbsp;or, you may just have two sets of front turbo wheels. &nbsp;do you KNOW they are off a turbo?

well. I did notice two throttle bodies when I was taking them off the car. The mafs was located in the center panel towards the front. I'm almost positive it was a turbo. I'll measure the rim when I get home today. I'm having some clearing problems in the front. So maybe I put the back one's on the front. not sure though.
I do know that the same size tires are on all four wheels.
And I do know that the aluminum calipers were only on the 91 turbo models.... weird.

Thanks for the help

Every Z32 has two throttle boddies and every Z32 has the MAS in front under the panel. But only the Turbo models came with the wider rear wheels. Its hard to show and explain how you can tell just by looking at the wheel which is which. However the easiest way is if the wheel has these like support lines on the inside of the wheel. Its hard to explain, but hopefully my pictures can help you out. If I still had my 300Zx Twin Turbo Id go take a picture for you, but I sold it on Sat. Also all Z32's prior to 91' had the aluminum calipers, they moved to harder metal cast Iron or steel ones in 92'. There were some rotor differences in realy 90' but I beleive the calipers are all the same. Also, the Aluminum calipers were replaced because under heavy breaking the aluminum would heat up and flex causing rotor warpage. Now they are about 25lbs lighter but I dont think the weight is worth warped rotors.. Got any other Z32 questions just ask I have just about all the answers youll ever want to know about the Z32.

Sorry forgot to post the stock wheel sizes:

front 16x7.5 45 mm offset uses a 225 50 16 tire

rear 16x8.5 35 mm offset uses a 245 45 16 tire

Great! That's exactly what I needed to know. I'll go home today and figure out exactly what I have, I'll use your pics for reference.

Thanks

The other way to tell which wheel is which is by the way the wheel looks. The wider wheel has more of a dish look to it. check out this pics of my old Z. Look at the front wheels compared to the back. See how the spokes on the back wheels come out creating a dish look as opposed to the fronts which dont at all. There a few pics to help you get the idea. Also, each wheel on the Z is design to be on a certain side. Look at the last picture of my car, my wheels are on correctly so how the spokes go. Then look at the two last pictures those wheels are on backwards.. Only the rear wheels on are on backwards on the white Z. This is not a big deal, just a Z guy thing. If this was a Z community a lot of people would be calling the Wheel Police!! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> Sorry most of you wont get that.

I feel stupid.

How do I measure the offset? &nbsp;I want to do the brake swap but I want to make sure it all clears. &nbsp;I have 17x7 rims but i dont know what the offset even is. &nbsp; Is it the distance from the rotor to the spokes?
