i blew my tranny

ok to put it simply my tranny crapped out on me today
my car is a 92 hatch with a ka24de 5 speed

i know where i can get a 5 speed tranny but it was out of a nissan hardbody(carbed ka24e) the truck is rwd i forgot what year it is

the reason im asking about the tranny from the carbed ka is because i pulled it out of the truck and the tranny has been sitting in the shop for about 5 months now
now about the 300zx i could get the whole brake swap for $200~300 and other parts for dirt cheap not to mention the Z only has 3000 miles on it so the parts are in super condition
well the Z can not be sold as a whole because it was donated to the school and i can buy everything except the frame
main question: will it work if it does i could pick it up on monday

To start off what do you have car wise and what motor, that is the biggest factor here. There may be some differances. I have read some things about the pickups having a bit stronger gears with some other advantages, but have not confirmed them.

I am sure you can pick on up on here for like $50

what car do you have? what engine? is it auto? is it manual? is the truck auto or manual? 2wd or 4wd? where did you find a carb'd ka? what year is the 300zx? vg30e? vg30de? auto? manual?

If that Z only has 3000 miles on it you are an idiot for wanting to rob parts off of it. And the tranny is not going to work with out a swap kit which is like 1k+.
