Damn, that shits $$$$. I thought $150/day NASA was much, but it would seem others are hitting the $160-$200 range often.

Ive got this on the calendar, but dunno yet. If i do, it will prob be Sat only.

Seriously people, willow springs is worth the extra cash! Especially since it is gunna be less that $50 more than other events. ANYONE who is into grip and hasn't been to willow springs should go!

STUSA is also jam packed with cars and flag workers are pretty lax when it comes to important stuff.

Understandable. Price plays a big factor with people barely starting to go to events.

Anyone else make it out or did you all get scared off by the rain? I went on sunday and had a blast! I got a chance to drive in every condition imagineable with the exception of snow. I only managed to get 13 laps in the dry (including out laps/warm-up laps) but still managed to knock out a 1:41.2! If it would have been dry all day I'm sure I would have gotten well into the 30's. Driving in the rain was a blast! I figured I would hydroplane all over the place, but that was not the case. Any other zilvians go and how did you do?

My friend got some pics. I'll post them up as soon as he gets off his lazy ass and e-mails them to me. I guess saturday was great, but I didn't make the call to go saturday. On sunday I showed up late cuz I was scared of the weather, but I called my buddy and he said it was beautiful. It didn't rain till about 11:00 and it cleared up by about 2:30, then it rained again at about 4:00. I only got 13 total laps in the dry, but it was a lot of fun! Driving in the wet was especially fun, although a bit treacherous.

I had a blast too! I was the guy with the white S14. Did a 1:43 follwoing my friend's M3 with some 205 kumho AST drift tires, that was my best lap in dry and I don't think I have much room to improve because I went all out.

Rain was too much fun, I drifted the whole course except the one after the back straight. Feels like I have 400hp in the rain.

hydroplane when doing 120mph is fun too!

Ya those azenis were pretty bald for you to be runnin em in the rain! I seriously can't believe you only ran a 1:43 though you seemed faster than that. You are seriously nuts for drifting turn 9 though!

I don't know my time exactly, but I followed my friend's M3 for a few laps but slowly fell behind after 4-5 laps and his best time was 1:41, so I figure I would be a couple secs slower.

I should have run with you and compare

turn 9 drift is so fun, turn 2 is fun too
