I am putting my LSX powered FD up for sale now, it is by no means a perfect car, but it isn’t too bad at all. Here is a very basic rundown of what it is. Black 93 R1 (which has stiffer springs and sway bars than touring model or base model or R2 models, no sunroof) with 61,000 miles on it (4000 since swap) and a black interior. The car looks quite well as it sits. The black interior is in great shape, but the stock seats have been replaced. The driver's seat is a Sparco Rev and is mounted on factory sliders(kind of tall, I recommend new mounts) and the passenger seat is a Sparco Speed 5 mounted directly to the floor.
The rest of the car is as follows:
-Hinson premium mounting equipment including aluminum driveshaft
-Polyurethane engine and tranny mounts
-Working power steering, no A/C but have everything for it
-Huge Be Cool Radiator with custom mounts, 3600cfm fan, and 160 degree T-Stat
-3.5" intake w/ 85mm SLP mass air sensor and K&N air filter
-JBA stainless shorty headers
-Custom 3" down pipes feeding into a single 3.5" exhaust w/ Dynomax muffler
and resonator all mandrel bent and v-band clamps, not too loud but good note
-3/8 hard lines and braided -6 AN lines from the Walbro 255 lph high pressure fuel pump all the way to the fuel rails and back to the tank
-Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator w/ fuel pressure gauge
-The engine and trans pulled from a 2000 Camaro SS with 34,000 miles.
-Brand new LS6 heads
-Comp Cams 918 springs and titanium retainers
-Manley pushrods
-GM ASA cam (226/236 @ 0.050
0.525/0.525" @ 0.308/9" lift
110 degrees LSA
Base circle 0.760"
Intake lobe centerline 108 degrees
Exhaust lobe centerline 248 degrees
Duration at 0.006", I=282, E=292)
-LS2 double roller timing chain
-LS6 intake manifold and ported LS1 throttle body
-Katech rod bolts
-Spec 2+ clutch (new at swap)
-Aluminum flywheel 11 lbs (new at swap)
-stock ECU tuned with HP Tuners (402hp 394ft lbs at the wheels on 91 octane pump
gas)
-Trans built with all steel shift forks and carbon blockers(D and D parts)
-Pro 5.0 shifter, Tri-Ax shifter arm, 03-04 Cobra shift knob
-Odyssey dry cell battery custom mounted under headlight
-Clean Kansas title showing no accidents and mileage matches carfax history report
-Alpine head unit w/ Sirrius sat radio, stock speakers
-Stock suspension and brakes
-Rear tires are Hankook Ventus VS2 Z212 245/45/16
-Fronts are nothing special 225/50/16
-Stock 4:11 LSD rear end
-Custom Auto Meter Ultra Lite full electric gauge cluster(no mechanical gauges). (5” tach, 3 3/8” electric speedo, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, fuel level, volts) $600 in gauges alone
-99 Spec front lip
-Alpine (CD/MP3/Sirrus Sat Radio/iPod hookup) Radio
-Sirrus Sat radio already installed

The bad:
Front Left corner needs some body work
Driver’s side fender vent is missing
Driver’s side headlight cover is cracked underneath (might be fixable)
Front bumper used to be red, now painted black, but rock chips are showing the red
Paint underneath
Paint oxidation on roof and hood (not bad, only a few very light spots)
Driver’s side seat mount is not so good, recommend new mounts
The HVAC controls don’t have power, so they don’t light up. The blower fan does work.
The tune needs some work on start up. Cold start is good, but warm start isn’t great.
Fuel Level sender is bad, gauge doesn’t work

This car is fast and a lot of fun to drive, you will get all kinds of funny comments about this car when you drive it. If you don't already know the reputation about these cars, it is quite a sleeper. Quiet exhaust and stock looking exterior. The car still handles as well as it did from the factory. I autocrossed this car and did quite well. However it is still very drivable, I drove it to Chicago from Kansas twice and sat in traffic for an hour without a problem either trip.(And got an average of 23-24 mpg doing 85mph) I haven't taken it to the drag strip, but judging from cars that it has beat, it car should be mid to low 11's at low to mid 120's mph. This is a finished swap; all the bugs are worked out of it, nothing to pop up down the road. Very solid car, no random clunks or squeaks. This isn't a perfect car though, and I will not lie to you about anything with this car. I am in the Army and am currently deployed to Iraq, so communication can be slow at times. The car is located in northwest Indiana at my brother’s house; he can show you the car. He also has the title in hand and can sign it over to whoever buys it. I am asking $19,000. Make an offer, but please no low ballers. The only trade I am interested in is a S13 coupe SE 5-Speed(plus cash of course). If you have any questions about the car email me at [email protected] and I will honestly answer them for you, but it may take a day or two sometimes but I will answer as soon as I can. Thanks for looking and tell you friends.
