I just finished my half-assed website. It's 2am, and I have class tomorrow at 8am, so I just hurried on it.
Anyway, there are pics of my turbo, my extras (bov and wastegate), the install (kinda), me all scrubby, the bottom end of a KA (crank and girdles *NICE*), and stuff.
I will get interior pics of my gauges and exterior pics later, cuz my camera needs batteries and I'm just a poor college kid.
Anyway... look around.
And don't mention the 3" radiator hose unless you have a better idea for that section of intake tubing.
The website is:

Let me know what you think, or what you want a close picture of! I'll be updating somewhat often.

Nice job man, you even have the same turbo timer as me <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> How is your turbo timer face purple, or is that just because of the flash?
and btw, radiator hose looks good <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Do you have the HKS type1, or type 0? My timer is the type 1, U.S. Spec. (it give distances in British measurement, as opposed to SI). The face is purple, and during the cool-down timing, it flashes red.

nice nice...love your set up..are u running off stock internals? if so what boost you plan on running on?
Jeff240sx

Yeah. Stock internals. I will be like T.Y. Yap, and someday destroy my KA in the name of science. Unless I trip on a big bag of money, then I'll replace the internals.
Right now I am running 4.35psi. In about a week I will be running 6.5psi. Hopefully by summer I'll be up in the 12psi range.

Yes. Stock engine, and the running total so far is $2700. In one week, it will be $3100 for 6.5psi.

got a Q: what's the downpipe made out of?? looks like one of those prebent L's coming off the turbine...
also, any heat protection?? if you haven't already, you might want to invest in some heat wrap and heat blanketing.

No. I rigged the downpipe off the turbo. It is a 2.5" tube bent at midas, with the ends flared out. Then I stuffed 3" big block header collectors into the flares. I had a ring cut out of 1/4" steel to mate to the turbo housing. Then I used a header collector connector (triangle thing with a bolt-hole in each point) to mate to a 3" sr20det downpipe. And welded it all together. If you want, I could take better pics... but anyway.
Also, I don't have heat protection. I was debating wrapping vs. an aluminum plate to protect the MC... Wouldn't wrapping cause the heat to be contained in the turbo, and keep it hotter as it cools down? If so, wouldn't that cause oil to coke in the bearings? I dunno... I'll probably get a heat shield, but not wrap it. Unless someone can prove me wrong.

my guess would be to at least wrap the downpipe, and definitely use a sheild around that MC and brake lines.
