Now it's like $60 91 octane every fucking week.

I'm actually thinking of selling the z and buying a honda fit or something.

Gas is never getting cheaper.

Jesus camp is going to win the election, and we are going to become a 3rd world country.

vote for Ron Paul. at least you can say you tried.

remember it's the dollar that is failing not other currencies. The price of oil rise is not having as large as an impact in other currency markets...

Weak dollar + Inflation + Infastructure being strained by huge social program budget, and war budget + open borders. Pretty fucking common sens-icle.

Register Republican. Vote for Ron Paul.

Bigger Government and Pro-longing the war with more socialism in the United States and controlling of your personal earning is Hillaries Championed horse.

The neo-conservative branch of the republican party will do the exact same thing (and has look at Bush spending and govt policy record) only will argue it in the name of Corporatism.

Its the same shit, you want socialist-3rdworldAmerica Lite or faux-socialistAmerica-corporate.

Yes in dollars dimwit. Thats because our dollar isnt worth shit overseas now. Its in the shitter.

Their money is worth more, costs less in Euros to buy same amount of gas. It's just propoganda to make you think they have it worse off. ITS IN DOLLARS . This reflects the failure of the US dollar.

What are the two most competitive economies with the US? China and the Euro where is gas most expensive on that chart in dollars...

also remeber societies are less spralled and there is more public transportation available, so the class of people constantly owning and driving their own vehicles in say Europe and China are the upper classes respectively. Companies can rise prices as demand is inelastic with fuels in those classes of spenders in most cases.

duh.

Its one of the best selling cars in the UK, renowned for reliability.

Smaller Eco footprint than a hybrid, when taking into account disposal of those battery's every few years, which might as well be nuclear waste, and better mileage.

Really?

Ron Paul ran before?

No it's not endless.

Hillary = Bill

Bill = Greatly Reducing Constitutional Rights, setting precedent for violent domestic police actions, Big government, taxing private business and small business more importantely.

You think that is going to help the economy, pull the ectasy out of your ass and think logically for a minute, I know it's hard.

Look check out what a libertarian is. If you think anyone outside of maybe Barak Obama is going to be fresh to washington your lying to yourself. They take handouts from all the same people.

The reason why California has such strict emissions laws is because Liberal Democrats attack Ideas in order to gain power. The villanize everything this, this allows for people to demand a government solution to a private problem. Like "go green" bullshit. The majority of pollution in socal is due to shipping vessels, trains, tractor trailors and industry. Private autombiles (even ones from mexico that are illegallly registered and never properly smogged) only make up a very small percentage (15% iirc) of all potential smog in the south baay.

People like Barbara Boxer (Hillaries best friend) and Feinstien fight for more government intervention because people need it. Punishing tax payers and law abiding citizens for a problem the companies that fund their campiagns are contributing to, or the Govt itself is.

you need to understand what Precedent means. Setting legislative precedent basically means Slippery Slope.

Once you ask for Government help, it translates to less freedom and more garnishment of your earnings.

WTF are you guys talking about....

I am in London at the moment and it's 1.19 GBP per litre last time I filled up the car here (which was today).

so it's 1.19 GBP/litre = $2.35 per litre.

There are 3.79 litres in a US Gallon...

so it costs me...

$8.90 over here in the UK for a gallon of fuel (with the current exchange rate 1/3/2008 (1.00 GBP = 1.97538 USD)

Yeah it's a demand inelastic product, in a market where people who drive frequently are typically in an upper class portion of the economy like I said.

Again, most Americans don't even know that the dollar is worth HALF THAT of a GBP now.

In an economy that is hell bent on outsourcing, service industry and has all but completely eliminated any homeland production and is still sliding down the greatly dropping exportation (we don't make much at home anymore) you can expect this kind of economic response.

...Ive said this on another forum.

If your in the states: The lobster loves to think the outside is hotter than the pot it's beginning to simmer in.

It's ecological dissassociation. Let's all talk about how "BAD" it is outside of the US. slaps head.

Buy back the Fed, save the economy. No more corporate glass cielings for small business.

It's not about what you do. The vast majority is good.

There are Officers raising objections to the way we go about aquiring a secure national agenda outside our borders not just some 'crack pots.'

And for the most part the Media doesnt really cover the goings ons in the war coherently, clearly or presented in a manner that anyone could draw any real depth conclusion on our current policy direction over there.

I don't want to keep debating American domestic politics, but it's the most important factor in determining what our future foreign policy will be.

This argument is like a black balled DIA analyst about to get fired and rank and file good soldier.

I love you guys, but policy need to change for Old Glory's sake imo or the United States needs to become honest with itself and globalize and become an economic union in a more honest way/chain of events.
